On Saturday, April 23, 2011, Vo’s is pleased to present a super talented multi-instrument musician and singer Van-Anh Vanessa Vo and her Quartet. Vanessa is a winner a Vietnam National Music Award and an Emmy Award. Her infusion of the well known traditional Vietnamese instrument, Dan Tranh, 16-string Zither, into contemporary jazz has mesmerized audiences around the Bay Area and worldwide. Come and treat yourself to this unique style of jazz at the intimate setting of Vo’s Restaurant’s Bamboo Lounge right in the heart of the Oakland Uptown District. I’m sorry for the delay in responding to your question.
It took me quite sometime to figure out how to do the website….
right now we have live Jazz every Friday night 8-11pm and there is no covercharge to come in.
the JAzz Dinner special event is only a one time event.
this event is speicla with the performance of Emmy award winner Vanh-Anh Vo, Zitherist / 16 string guitar, and her JAZZ quartet.
I hope you can come.
