Vo’s is proud to bring you an evening of amazing musical entertainment. If you are a jazz lover, you are in for a delightful treat. On Saturday, April 23, 2011, Vo’s is pleased to present a super talented multi-instrument musician and singer Van-Anh Vanessa Vo and her Quartet. Vanessa is a winner a Vietnam National Music Award and an Emmy Award. Her infusion of the well known traditional Vietnamese instrument, Dan Tranh, 16-string Zither, into contemporary jazz has mesmerized audiences around the Bay Area and worldwide. Come and treat yourself to this unique style of jazz at the intimate setting of Vo’s Restaurant’s Bamboo Lounge right in the heart of the Oakland Uptown District.
